Mentorship program in IPC

One aim of the EU-JAMRAI 2 in the Infection Prevention and Control work area is to support partners in the implementation of IPC core components at the national and local level, with an overarching goal of peer-to-peer exchange between professionals across Europe and a relationship with European expert mentors. This program is carried out in close collaboration with EUCIC – the European Committee on Infection Control, part of the ESCMID.

To facilitate the interactions between professionals, EU-JAMRAI 2 proposes the implementation of a mentorship program. This program would aim at allowing field-IPC professionals to obtain help from peers or experts regarding practical issues. It is especially directed to isolated professionals who may not be able to interact locally with other IPC professionals.
