EU-JAMRAI 2 Workshop: Behaviour change strategies for Infection Prevention and Control

On October 9-10, EU-JAMRAI2 organised a workshop in St Julian’s (Malta) focused on Behaviour Change Interventions in Infection Prevention & Control (IPC) and antibiotic stewardship.

The key sessions on Day 1 included an introduction to Behaviour Change frameworks. Besides, different issues like the behavioural drivers of IPC performance or the details of the COM-B model and its application in achieving IPC behaviour change were also addressed during the event.

On the second day, the participants discussed and analysed how to identify and specify the target behaviour, and how to proceed with data collection. This meeting was an excellent opportunity for the different EU-JAMRAI 2 participants to connect, learn, and share best practices for driving impactful change and improving healthcare outcomes through behaviour change.
