EU-JAMRAI 2 collaborates in the EPF Policy paper “Antimicrobial Resistance Through Patients’ Eyes: Stories and Insights”

Effective communication about antimicrobial resistance (AMR) is critical to raising awareness and driving behavior change to reduce the impact of this global health challenge.

EU-JAMRAI 2 has participated in the new edition of the European Patient’s Forum policy paper “Antimicrobial Resistance Through Patients’ Eyes: Stories and Insights”.

Placing patients at the center of this communication ensures that the messaging resonates on a personal level, empowering individuals to take informed actions, such as using antibiotics responsibly and adopting preventive measures like vaccination and hygiene.

By addressing patients’ concerns and emphasizing their role in safeguarding their own health and that of the community, public health campaigns can foster trust, encourage collaboration, and amplify the impact of AMR interventions.
