JAMREYE: National surveillance of AMR in humans in Europe

Is decentralized and complex AMR surveillance keeping you from seeing the full picture, both nationally and across Europe? You are not alone! And the JAMREYE is here to assist!

The JAMREYE is designed to facilitate data-driven decision making and development and can be used by both AMR experts and policymakers.

JAMREYE is an interactive dashboard designed to facilitate the improvement and development of microbiological surveillance of AMR in Europe.

It visualizes current surveillance systems in:

  • 28 countries
  • 5 culture materials
  • 8 bacterial priority pathogens
  • 12 resistances

Our vision is: “A Europe where every country has the capacity to perform, contribute to and benefit from high-quality, harmonized antibiotic resistance surveillance, regardless of size or resources.”

Examples of what you can see in the dashboard:

  • Which countries have national mandatory surveillance on carbapenem resistant K. pneumoniae isolated from blood?
  • Do national reference laboratories sequence E. coli resistant to 3rd generation cephalosporins?
  • Which countries know if a carbapenem resistant E. coli isolated from urine is community associated?

How to use JAMREYE: Explore– Compare – Prioritize – Act

  • EXPLORE: Look around in the dashboard, try the different filters and tabs.
  • COMPARE: What are your strengths and opportunities for improvement?
  • PRIORITIZE: What improvements do you identify as most urgent?
  • ACT: Implement your priorities. Reach out for support!
