EU-JAMRAI holds its Antimicrobial Stewardship Kick-off meeting

The Kick-Off meeting of the EU-JAMRAI members involved in Antimicrobial stewardship took place on April 4th, to introduce the tasks and activities planned in the Joint Action for human, animal, and environmental health, as well as the behavior change strategies.

More than a hundred people gathered online to meet a general overview, the schedule, and the main goals and activities planned in the EU-JAMRAI work package devoted to Antimicrobial stewardship.

Among the planned actions, the partners involved will create an EU framework for Antimicrobial Stewardship, promote P2P exchange programs to share real experiences and best practices or set different networks with national focal points in the different countries.

Several training courses, toolkits, and workshops will be carried out in the framework of the One Health approach, addressing the needs of a wide range of professionals, from primary healthcare services to veterinarians or farmers. Besides, analysis and development of a behavior change framework will be also developed.
