Ears-Vet held its Annual Meeting 2025 in Copenhagen

On May 13–14, 2025, EU-JAMRAI 2 gathered in Denmark the members of the EARS-Vet network at the Annual Meeting 2025 organised by the University of Copenhagen.

The two-day event was an excellent occasion to present the progress of this network and strengthen partnerships for veterinary antimicrobial resistance surveillance across Europe.

The key points of the EARS-Vet meeting revolved around:

  • Deep dives into joint data analysis & MIC plates
  • Finalizing the EARS-Vet manual
  • Exploring WGS for phenotypes of interest
  • Strengthening communication, the website & publication plans
  • Insights from FAO, EFSA & CEESA on global surveillance
  • Hands-on WHONET workshop
