How do we use our voices to reach a wider community for Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR)?

EU-JAMRAI 2 shared its experience in advocacy for AMR raising awareness in a webinar organised by the European Patients’ Forum and The AMR Narrative.

On the 29th of August 2024, Laura Alonso and Ana Tamayo, as members of the Communication Team of EU-JAMRAI 2, participated in the webinar How do we use our voices to reach a wider community for Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR)?

This event is part of the series “Amplifying patient advocacy on AMR” organised by The AMR Narrative in partnership with the European Patients’ Forum to create an exchange space for diverse groups of patients, carers, survivors, and civil society organisations impacted by AMR who want to advance advocacy efforts.

The webinar gathered an inspiring group of experts working in community development and advocacy for AMR, including Pernilla Rönnholm, who shared her lived experience as well as her charity Prematurföreningen Mirakel. The session was complemented by the perspectives of Andrea Caputo Svensson from ReAct – Action on Antibiotic Resistance, James Malar from Stop TB Partnership, and Danilo Lo-Fo-Wong from the World Health Organization.

Laura Alonso and Ana Tamayo shared their experience on the actions developed during EU-JAMRAI 1. The recording is available on “The AMR Narrative” YouTube channel:
