Keynote Speaker: Dr Vivi Antonopoulou
Understanding behaviour in context: using the COM-B model to address complex public health challenges

Senior Research Fellow at the Centre for Behaviour Change (CBC), University College London (UCL). She specialises in applying behavioural science to enhance decision-making, service delivery, and quality of care within complex health and social care systems. As part of a multidisciplinary policy research unit, her current work focuses on optimising behaviour change interventions to strengthen healthcare professionals’ practice and synthesising complex evidence to inform health policy. Previously, she led and contributed to large-scale projects and evaluations across Local Authorities, aimed at improving professional practice in social work and social care. Vivi is a Chartered Psychologist (CPsychol, AFBPsS) with the British Psychological Society and a member of the UK Social Medicine and Population Health.

Speaker 1: Dr Katerina Iliopoulou
Exploring determinants of antimicrobial prescribing behaviour using behavioural science

Healthcare researcher at the National Public Health Organisation (NPHO), Athens, Greece, and co-leader of T6.4 (JAMRAI-2). Katerina has an extensive clinical background in critical care nursing. Her research work focuses on implementation science using behavioural change theories and implementation science frameworks to improve IPC and AMS interventions. She was the past Chair of N&AHPs in the European Society of Intensive Care Medicine, and she is member of the European Implementation Collaborative.

Speaker 2: Dr Julia Moore
Selecting Strategies for Antibiotic Stewardship: Key Insights from Implementation Science

Executive Director at The Center for Implementation. She holds a PhD from Penn State in Human Development, where she was trained as an implementation scientist, researching the best ways to implement evidence-based programs. She has worked on over 100 implementation initiatives and is known internationally for her ability to communicate complex concepts in clear and practical ways.

Moderator: Dr José Ramón Paño

José Ramón Paño is a general infectious diseases physician who practices at Hospital Clínico Universitario in Zaragoza. His main research interests are healthcare-associated infections and antimicrobial stewardship. He is associated professor of Medicine at Universidad de Zaragoza. He is member of the ESCMID Executive Committee and co-leader of T6.4 (JAMRAI-2).
