Jean-Baptiste Rouffet, member of EU-JAMRAI coordination team and policy advisor in the French Ministry of Health, presented the main objectives of the European Joint Action on Antimicrobial Resistance and Healthcare-Associated Infections during the Spanish celebration of the European Antibiotic Awareness Day (EAAD). On the occasion of this celebration, the Spanish AMR National Plan (PRAN), organizes this informative day that aims to raise awareness among the general public and healthcare professionals of the importance of the prudent use of antibiotics and the seriousness of the problem of antimicrobial resistance. The Spanish EAAD celebration will be held this year at the Ministry of Health, Social Services and Equality, on Friday, November 17th.
