The use of last line antimicrobials is still a challenge
8 May, 2018Jean-Baptiste Rouffet is a Policy Advisor on European Affairs and a Member of the Joint Action on Antimicrobial Resistance and Healthcare-Associated Infections (EU-JAMRAI) coordination team.
“We consider that AMR cannot be tackle only by policymakers; we have to involve industry, patients, organizations, health professionals, scientific society, hospitals, etc. We have to be as inclusive as possible. Each one is responsible for tackling AMR at its level”, Jean-Baptiste.
This interview was recorded on the European Day for the Prudent Use of Antibiotics 2017 in Madrid (Spain) with the aim of introduce the main objetives of the EU-JAMRAI as well as its members and challenges.
