Questionnaire for associations, vets, farmers and other professionals related to animal health
16 August, 2019ASP Qualitative Evaluation
13 November, 2019In EU-JAMRAI we are currently designing a European Antimicrobial Resistance Surveillance network in Veterinary medicine (EARS-Vet), following the model of EARS-Net in the human sector. To build the best EARS-Vet, we look for collaborations with AMR experts from all EU countries, EU institutions and relevant stakeholder organizations, as part of our inclusive and One Health approach.
Below some of the topics to be discussed:
- Why monitoring AMR in diseased animals?
- What animal species / bacterial species / antimicrobials should be monitored?
- How to harmonize standards across the EU?
- Under which condition data may be shared by countries?
- ...
We also plan to work on pragmatic recommendations for helping countries to set up their national surveillance system of AMR in diseased animals.
Do you want to know more about EARS-Vet? Do you want to take part in the design and set up of EARS-Vet?
Contact us before December 15th 2019 and let’s see how we can work together!
We are especially looking for collaborations with professionals working on AMR surveillance in diseased animals within EU countries.
The design of EARS-Vet in action
As part of this initiative, we are organizing meetings in 25 European countries. Please, see the countries that have been visited so far in the map below. More countries to be visited soon!
