Organized by the European Public Health Alliance (EPHA) in partnership with the European Economic and Social Committee and under the patronage of the Romanian Presidency of the Council of the European Union, the aim of this event was having an open discussion with AMR experts on:
- How EU can support Member States’ efforts to tackle AMR nationally, regionally and locally.
- How the use of EU financial instruments and technical assistance services can reduce inequalities between EU countries and strengthen the implementation of One Health national AMR policies and actions.
EU-JAMRAI had the pleasure of having our partner Merel Langelaar in the interesting panel "Can we deliver on the SDG’s without tackling AMR? What barriers are countries facing in implementing AMR policies?" with Danilo Lo Fo Wong (AMR Programme Manager of WHO Europe) and Andreas Sandgren (Deputy Head of ReAct Europe).
