Recommendations for changes to the ECDC´s technical 2013 document on IPC core competencies has been developed. This output will form the basis for an update of the current EU guidance on IPC core competencies for IPC professionals. The recommendations has been developed in collaboration with partners in the EU-JAMRAI 2 project and an advisory group of European IPC experts. A questionnaire survey has provided quantitative and qualitative data for the report. Also, in close collaboration with EU-JAMRAI 2 partners and ECDC the available European recommendations for IPC competencies have been evaluated.
